Labuan

Labuan was officially made a federal territory on the 16th of April 1984. With a total land area of 92 km2, Labuan is estimated to have a population of 85, 000 people as of year 2007. The federal territory is made up of Labuan Island and six smaller islands and is sub-divided into nine administrative districts. The town centre, Bandar Labuan, was once known as Victoria.
